ALL applications must be completed in its entirety. All experience submitted to satisfy meeting the minimum qualifications posted must be provided within the application. A resume can be submitted with a completed application. A resume will not be accepted in lieu of a City Application.
Applications received are considered an expression of interest in working within the specific job classification at the City of Tampa and not necessarily a specific department. When classifications are in multiple city departments, the list of eligible applicants are shared with multiple departments. Applicants certified to an eligibility list are eligible for one (1) year. Candidates are encouraged to apply for the job classification of interest regardless of where the current vacancy may be to ensure addition to the eligibility list if you are determined to be eligible based on the established minimum qualifications.
