The College Intern-Graduate Level salary rate is $23.25 per hour.  

Graduate Level - Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited law school within the past one year OR presently enrolled in a post-Bachelor's law school program for this recruitment.

College Intern positions offer college students/graduates practical work experience through projects related to the student’s field of study - law. College Interns employed in this class may be assigned to one of the County's legal departments. This recruitment will be used to fill current and future positions.   

This recruitment is intended to fill College Intern-Graduate Level (Extra-Help) positions requiring enrollment in or completion of a law school program. Extra-help employees do not have rights to a regular position or continued employment and are excluded from civil service. The Internship may last up to one year, and generally work up to 29 hours per week. Interns may work more than 29 hours per week, depending upon departmental assignment and budget. However, hours cannot exceed more than 999 hours in a fiscal year.

Extra-help employees who work less than 29 hours per week do not typically receive or accrue benefits of regular employees during their period of employment. All extra-help employees accrue .034 hours of Sick Leave for every full hour worked.
