This Supplemental Questionnaire will be used to determine applicants’ qualifications for this position and assess an applicant’s ability to advance in the recruitment process; therefore, applicants are encouraged to answer all questions thoroughly and completely.  Omitted information will not be considered or assumed.  Applicants who have no experience in a specific area are recommended to state "no experience in this area" instead of leaving the space blank.   1. Describe your experience in managing a diverse portfolio of buildings, including the types of facilities managed, level of responsibility, and number and classification of employees supervised.
  2. Describe your experience in energy management, including managing cogeneration plant operations and applying for grants and rebates through the California Energy Commission, PG&E, and other sources.  Provide information on the extent of your experience and involvement in managing energy improvement projects in the areas of lighting, heating and cooling, and roofing systems.
  3. Describe a specific example of a facilities related project that you initiated or were involved in that resulted in significant benefit in terms of space utilization, building renovation, operating cost reduction, or any other measurable improvement in facilities operations.
  4. Describe your experience in facilities management organizational development and strategic planning initiatives, including the use of technology in managing business operations.   
  5. Describe your experience managing commercial irrigation controllers and water efficiency projects.
  6. Describe the criteria you follow when assigning tasks to custodial personnel.
