I understand that the education requirement for the Accountant (Senior) position could be satisfied two ways:
Pattern 1: A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in business administration, finance, accounting or closely related field, which must have included at least 12 semester or 18 quarter units from among the following accounting courses: Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Governmental Accounting, Fund Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Auditing.
Pattern 2: Possession of a Certified Public Accountant Certificate.
If qualifying under Pattern 1, I understand that a copy of my degree (verifying degree, date earned and area of specialization) and a copy of my college transcripts (veriying courses and units completed) must be submitted by the final filing deadline, and failure to submit these documents by the deadline will result in disqualification from the recruitment.
If qualifying under Pattern 2, I understand that a copy of my Certified Public Accountant Certificate must be submitted by the final filing deadline, and failure to submit this certificate by the deadline will result in disqualification from the recruitment.
