Introduction
San Joaquin County is recruiting for the Assistant Public Defender. This single-position classification is exempt from San Joaquin County Civil Service. The incumbent will assist the Public Defender in the administration of the department by planning and supervising assigned functions and participating in the preparation and defense of a variety of criminal and some civil matters.
