This Supplemental Questionnaire is part of the Office Assistant/Senior Office Assistant – Law Enforcement application process and is required to be completed, in addition to the standard application. It will be used to further evaluate your qualifications, as well as to provide information regarding the background process that is required to be successfully completed prior to being employed as an Office Assistant/Senior Office Assistant with any of the County’s law enforcement agencies. This recruitment is being conducted to fill vacancies only in the Sheriff’s Office, Probation Department, Correctional Health, and District Attorney’s Office. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening to be considered. Law enforcement departments in San Joaquin County require that you successfully pass an in-depth background investigation. Please review the information below regarding the activities that may make you unsuccessful in the background process:
