9924 PUBLIC SERVICE AIDE - HEALTH EQUITY INTERN
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Office Health Equity, the 9924 Health Equity Intern will develop a knowledge of basic causes of health disparities and current approaches to improvement. The Health Equity Intern will gain experience in the implementation, organization, and maintenance of documents; preparation/maintenance of data reports; assistance with the logistical support of teams and staff or community events; and a strong focus on infrastructure and community engagement as it relates to governmental and health equity work.
1. Completion of 15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) of coursework from an accredited college or university; OR
2. Six months (equivalent to 1,000 hours) of verifiable administrative support experience in an office setting.

Disaster Service Workers

Employment with the City requires the affirmation of a loyalty oath to this effect. Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.
