APPOINTMENT TYPE AND DURATION POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will provide administrative and analytical assistance to the Infrastructure Operating and Maintenance Budget Unit post go live of PeopleSoft Financial and Procurement System. EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Maintain routine office records by transferring data, calculating totals, compiling summaries, making routine entries and proofreading documents. 2. Assist in entering and submitting vouchers in the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module after invoice compliance has been completed. 3. Provide assistance during staff training; assist staff in navigating through the PeopleSoft system. 4. Assist the unit with any documentation of new Processes and Procedures. 5. Enter routine information into various PUC sub-systems. 6. Perform other duties as required.
This is for a Permanent-Exempt (PEX), Full-Time position not to exceed three (3) years. This position is excluded by the Charter from the competitive civil service examination process, is considered “at will” and shall serve at the discretion of the appointing officer.

EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

3. Provide assistance during staff training; assist staff in navigating through the PeopleSoft system.

6. Perform other duties as required.
These minimum qualifications are to be used as a guide for establishing the education, training, experience, special skills and/or license which may be required for employment in the class. Although these minimum qualifications are typical of the class, additional minimum qualifications and special conditions may apply to a particular position and will be stated on the job announcement.
1. One (1) year (equivalent to 2000 hours) of verifiable clerical experience including preparing and maintaining a variety of records and/or documents, filing, use of office equipment, public contact and processing of incoming and outgoing mail: OR
2. Six (6) months (equivalent to 1000 hours) of verifiable clerical experience as described in #1 and completion of a clerical training program (240 hours); OR
3. Six (6) months (equivalent to 1000 hours) of verifiable clerical experience as described in #1 and 15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) of coursework from an accredited college or university.
