Supplemental Questionnaire (Minimum Qualifications)

All applicants are required to complete the supplemental questionnaire as part of the on-line application process.  The purpose of this supplemental is to obtain a clear and concise summary of your professional and educational background as it relates to the 1053 IS Business Analyst Sr. position for the Controller's Office.  The questionnaire will be used to verify candidate's possession of the meeting the Minimum Qualifications and Special Conditions for this position.  The information you provide on this questionnaire should be consistent with the information on your application and will be verified.  Applicants will be required to submit verification of qualifying experience.

The Minimum Qualifications for class 1053 IS Business Analyst Sr. per the terms of this announcement are:

Minimum Qualifications
 

Education:

An associate degree preferably in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field; AND, 

Experience:

Three (3) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management.

Substitution: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.

In addition to the Minimum Qualifications listed above, this position has additional requirements.  In order to qualify for any of this position, applicants must meet the following Special Conditions:

Two (2) years of PeopleSoft HCM Payroll experience
