Supplemental Questionnaire

NSTRUCTIONS: This supplemental questionnaire will be used to assess your possession of the minimum qualifications as well as experience in job-related areas for the 1053 IS Business Analyst position for which you are applying and MUST be submitted with the official application. Supporting documentation(such as licenses, letters, resumes, etc.) will not substitute for this supplemental questionnaire.

As a reminder, all work experience, education, training and other information substantiating how you meet the minimum qualifications must be included on your application by the filing deadline. If you do not include the work experience you are about to describe on your application, you will be rejected. If you are copying an old application, take the time to update your work history and other information before submitting this application.

The information should be consistent with the information on your general application and is subject to verification.  Keep a copy of your application materials for your own records.

1. Describe any project you had a major role through most of the project lifecycle. Did you run into any challenges during the development and how did you overcome them? If you would like to make one improvement on that project, what would it be?

2. Describe your experience in supporting commercial software. Include the name of the product, and how it was used in the organization. Describe, in detail, how you configured and what factors you considered in customizing the solution.  

3. Describe your experience in system interface or integration using API, SSIS, ETL, ESB /Messaging Bus? What factors would you consider in implementing?

4. Describe a complex public facing web application that you were the lead or had a major role in and how the application was secured from malicious attacks.

5. Describe your experience developing and managing applications in an environment, such as Microsoft Team Foundation server, as well as what was your role and size of your team.
