The purpose of this Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) is to determine your training and experience as they relate to the minimum qualifications for the recruitment, as stated on the announcement.

The purpose of this Supplemental Questionnaire is to determine your knowledge, skills, and abilities in job-related areas that have been identified as critical for satisfactory performance in the position. The information provided should be consistent with the information on your application and is subject to verification.

Please follow these instructions when answering the supplemental questionnaire.

    • Provide your best or highest examples of work.
    • Provide all of the information requested, even if it may appear redundant. Do not write, “See application” or “See resume” as a response.

This should be a supervisor, program director, or other individual who has personal knowledge that you either performed the specific activities or that your position required you to perform such activities. 1. What is the role of compliance functions within an organization? Provide a verifiable work experience where you had company or department-wide formal responsibility for managing compliance to ensure adherence with organization policies and external regulations (e.g. federal, state and/or local). What knowledge and skills are essential to successfully manage an organization’s compliance function?     Provide a specific work example of when you reported a compliance violation, and developed and implemented corrective action. 3. The Department is seeking to increase its capacity to pursue and obtain grant funding. Describe your specific experience in developing and writing grant proposals. Provide the name of your employer(s) and your position title(s) where you performed the work indicated.

 

4. Grant management is essential to successfully fulfilling all grant terms and conditions, including preparing and submitting grant applications, grant amendments and modifications, grant outcomes reporting, grant expenditure and reimbursement claiming, and grant closeout completion with grantor and with your organization’s budgeting and financial departments. Provide a specific example, including all grant specifics, when you successfully fulfilled all grant conditions indicated above for a grant with a value greater than $100,000.
