INSTRUCTIONS

The purpose of this Supplemental Application is to determine your knowledge, skills, and abilities in job-related areas that have been identified as critical for satisfactory performance in this position. All relevant experience, education and/or training must be on the application and supplemental application in order to be reviewed and scored for credit towards the resulting eligible list. This information should be consistent with the information on your application and resume.  All submitted information on the application and resume is subject to verification. The hiring department may review this information as part of their selection process.

Please describe your previous work experience with quality control (QC) systems and processes you are familiar in the printing and mailing facility. Please include why quality control processes are important in printing and mailing industry.

Please share your professional work experience dealing with customers/vendors who are difficult, emotionally distressed or hostile. Indicate in your response a specific incident with the following: 

  • Circumstances of the incident (i.e. details of the scene, parties involved, and your role)
  • How you assessed the situation
  • Principles you applied when approaching the situation
  • Steps you took to resolve the situation
  • Outcome and lessons, you learned from the experience.

Please describe your professional work experience in using personal computers including specific programs used to set up jobs for specific type of printers, mailing equipment and bindery equipment. In your response, please refer to a specific projects and software and specify operating systems you are familiar.
