SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE

 All applicants are required to complete the Supplemental Questionnaire as part of the online application process. The purpose of the Supplemental Questionnaire is to determine whether applicants possess the minimum qualifications and the knowledge, skills and abilities in job-related areas that have been identified as critical for satisfactory performance in this position. The information provided should be consistent with the information on your application and is subject to verification.

  2. Your approach for assessing the needs of report users and how you ensured that the report met these needs.  
  3. Steps you took to prepare the reports and data used to inform the process.
  4. Systems or applications used to compile, track, analyze, and submit the data.
  5. Your role in the final presentation of the report.

Describe your experience using the City’s financial system or an equivalent complex financial management system. Your response should include:

  1. The name of the financial management system you used.
  2. Your role interacting with the system, including if you were entering or extracting information and the nature of that information.
  3. Any experience you had reporting data from the financial management system to others or training others in use of the system.

Describe you knowledge of program management concepts or project delivery tools, such as work breakdown structures, gantt charts, or project charters.

Provide a list of systems and applications that you have used in your past work experience and describe how you used these systems to accomplish a challenging work assignment or project.
