This Supplemental Questionnaire gathers job-specific information in order to expedite the selection process and address administrative matters. You must possess the minimum qualifications as stated in the job announcement at the time you submit your application in order to be considered for this position. You must be possess a High School diploma (or GED equivalent) or have a June 2020 anticipated graduation date at the time of hire. Please read all of the items below carefully and respond to each completely.

In-person interviews will be conducted during business hours the week of March 30-April 2, 2020 at the County Fair Building, 1199-9th Avenue (Cross street Lincoln Way). Please ensure that your registered email address is accurate, and accepts emails from @sfgov.org account as appointment scheduling will occur via email.  If you are unavailable, you will be contacted to schedule and/or interview via telephone. If you apply after the initial in-person interview period, you will be participating in a phone interview. Please note, any later hiring considerations will depend on the number of available slots and review of your qualifications.

AWARENESS OF ASSIGNMENT CHANGE: There may be some SF Day Camp assignments that will act as a Standby for potential Camp Mather Camp Assistant positions.  The pay rate will be the same and will include room and board in a shared dorm.  Those employees who agree to being a standby will be hired in designated Camp Mather positions and if necessary, may be requested to go up to Camp Mather, a SF Rec and Park family camp located in Yosemite Valley. The campsite is approximately three (3) hours away from San Francisco. This assignment change may occur on short notice. Employees will work and lodge on the camp premises for a period of time, even possibly to the remainder of the Summer season (September 12).  The employee must be at least 18 years of age in order to be considered. 

 

MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: I certify that I meet the minimum qualifications for the position by possessing a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) OR that I will graduate from high school by June 2020 (if I want an earlier start work date, I must submit a verification letter confirming that I meet the graduation requirements from my high school counselor). I understand that I must submit verification of my high school diploma (or GED equivalent) upon request.
