Experience identifying and resolving problems or conflicts; making or recommending decisions regarding project planning and strategic priorities
Experience making decisions to adapt to changing needs during project planning in a dynamic environment
Experience with long-range water planning
Experience managing large capital budgets on a project and program level
Strong communications skills; experience in collating and synthesizing complex project information for diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, demonstrated through experience working with multiple stakeholders in a utility setting
Experience with regulatory developments and trends at the state and federal level (internationally, a plus), new technologies and current trends in potable reuse and other water resources management disciplines
Experience representing a utility or similar organization at public meetings, industry conferences, and other venues
Experience leading public outreach and engagement efforts
Experience successfully managing complex capital projects and water supply planning efforts
Experience managing cross-functional teams to implement projects and/or programs
