This supplemental questionnaire will be used to determine that you meet the minimum qualifications for the 1094 IT Operations Support Administrator IV position.  Responses to items must be supported by the information provided on the application and is subject to verification.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

Education: Requires an associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field]; AND

Experience: Four (4) years of experience performing analysis, installation, technical support, and system administration in a network environment.

Substitution: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.

The purpose of this Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) is to describe your training and experience as they relate to the knowledge, skills, and abilities linked to the essential functions of this 1094 IT Operations Support Administrator IV (please refer to the job announcement for a more detailed description of these knowledge, skills and abilities).

Only the information you provide in your answers to these questions will be evaluated to determine your score in the selection process for this position. The SQ will be presented to an expert review panel for an assessment and will be used as the examination process to determine candidates' score and rank on the Eligible List/Score Report. This Supplemental Questionnaire will account for 100% of the total weight of candidates’ final scores.
