The purpose of the Minimum Qualification Supplemental Questionnaire is to assess whether the applicant meets the minimum qualifications for the classification. The minimum qualifications have been identified as critical for satisfactory performance in this classification. The information provided must be consistent with the information on your application and is subject to verification. The responses on the Supplemental Questionnaire are mandatory for participation in this recruitment process.

As stated in the job announcement, all applicants will be required to submit a recent DMV driving record during the hiring process. Applicants will be notified at the appropriate time to submit their driving record. Do not submit your driving record until requested. Applicants who do not meet the driving record requirements listed below will be placed under waiver until these requirements are met.

Your DMV driving record will be screened for the following information:

1) You are over 21 years old by August 19, 2019.
2) You were licensed from August 19, 2016 through present.
3) Your driver license is valid and current.
4) You have no moving violations between August 19, 2016 and present.
5) You have no accidents where you contributed to the cause between August 19, 2016 and present.
6) You have no suspensions, probations or lapse of driving privilege for any reason, for a total of more than six (6) months between August 19, 2016 and present.
7) You have no convictions of California State Vehicle Code 20001 (leaving the scene of an accident involving bodily injury or death); 23103 through 23109 (reckless driving), 23152 – 23153 (driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs) between August 19, 2016 and present.

You will be required to submit driving records from all the states/countries where you had a driver license during the past 3 years.

The examination is tentatively scheduled for September 16, 17, 18, 2019. A detailed email notice regarding the examination will be sent to all qualified applicants around September 4, 2019.

Are you a High School graduate in any country, or have you attained a GED or California High School Proficiency Certificate?

Do you have at least one (1) year of full-time verifiable satisfactory public contact or customer service experience? (2000 hrs = 1 year)

Have you been convicted of a drug-related offense in the past seven (7) years from August 19, 2012 to August 19, 2019?

Have you ever been convicted of any sex offense?
