SFO offers diverse employment opportunities. Our Fellowship program provides the opportunity to gain work experience in many areas. Please indicate the THREE areas that interest you the most.

Administration & Policy: Social Responsibility & Community Sustainability (SRCS): The Social Responsibility and Community Sustainability (SRCS) section works closely with companies at the Airport to create value for them, both as businesses and employers, and to elevate employment and performance standards for the benefit of workers and passengers alike. To expand these services, adapt Airport policies to the changing needs of our workforce, and continue to deliver the highest quality passenger experience, SRCS requires a comprehensive inventory of Airport employers.
Airport Commission & External Affairs: The Airport Commission Secretary is committed to providing complete and accurate information to the Airport Commission, Airport staff and the general public in a manner that is timely, efficient, expeditious and cost effective. Government Affairs and Policy's (GAP) mission is to advance SFOs strategic objectives with external stakeholders - federal, state and local governments as well as regional business and community organizations - in order to promote and advance the strategic initiatives and goals of the Airport.
Airport Facilities: Administration: The Facilities Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all Airport buildings, structures, roadways and the airfield. Staff ensures that all equipment is safe and operational 24 hours/seven days a week and meets all state, federal and local codes and regulations.
Airport Facilities: Sign Shop: The Craft Shops perform maintenance and operate a wide variety of systems including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), security, electrical, fire alarm, water and sewer systems and people moving equipment. Staff is also responsible for signage, painting, carpentry, landscaping, pavement, vehicle maintenance and other construction modifications of existing facilities (e.g. security checkpoints, offices, restrooms).
Airport Services: Landside Operations oversees the Airport's traffic engineering and ground transportation services to ensure passengers are moved efficiently on and off the Airport; encourage the use of alternative transportation modes by airport passengers, employees and ground transportation providers; and disseminates accurate information on ground transportation programs and services to promote their use.
Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) is a telecom, network, internet and hosting service provider to the Airport Commission overseen by CIO Ian Law. It's business partners include airlines, concession tenants and government agencies.
