PLANNER IV – SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE

The supplemental questions are designed specifically for this recruitment. Applications received without the required supplemental information will be screened out of the selection process. NOTE: Please answer the question(s) below as completely and thoroughly as possible, as your answer(s) may be used to assess your qualifications for movement to the next step in the recruitment process.



1.

Describe your education, training and experience in each of the following areas:


a.

Housing policy development and implementation, and fair housing law.

b.

Development review and permitting, particularly review of housing or mixed use projects for compliance with County inclusionary housing requirements, density bonus law, various state streamlining laws, and/or County ministerial processing options, and interpreting state and local codes for ADUs.

c.

Interacting with the public, representing the County at various public meetings and community events, and providing customer service in your current position.

2.

Describe your experience managing County community development capital projects (housing, infrastructure, etc.) financed with local, state and/or federal funds, and ensuring these projects comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), as applicable.  Please include what “best practices” you follow when managing such projects.
