Supplemental Questionnaire

Please respond to the following questions using no more than one page per question.


1.

Describe your experience with labor negotiations. Include your role, responsibilities and experience with negotiating employee contracts, labor contract administration, resolving contract disputes and addressing other labor management concerns.

2.

The Personnel Director interacts with a wide variety of individuals, including the Board of Supervisors, other elected officials, department directors and employees. Describe how you would establish and maintain an effective working relationship with these key stakeholders and consistently provide a high level of customer service.

Describe your experience administering risk management programs such as employee benefits, workers compensation, liability programs, loss prevention and claims.

4.

Describe your experience working for a public agency that operates under a civil service or merit system. Include your experience working with a civil service commission and/or a similar type of commission.
