 Full time positions available for:

Tool Maker

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • An acceptable level of math skills, strong planning/organizing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a machinist or acceptable level of mechanical aptitude
  • Able to stand 95% of work day, lifting (up to 40lbs –up to 90%  per day)

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Plan and construct repair of a wide variety of production tooling and dyes for specialty part production
  • Able to read or design prints of some tooling
  • Perform a wide variety of machine tool functions and set-up
  • Use close tolerances and inter-related dimensions, perform highly skilled bench work, layout sequence of operations
  • Recognize and report any errors in prints, material or machines for correction
  • Properly document all actions as required 
  • Maintain knowledge of current quality and safety system(s)

Selection Plan
