Job Summary: Process Technician is contributing to the team´s mission in order to reach the team targets. A Process Technician is focused on improving processes and on continuous improvements. 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the line layouts.
  • Assisting in the transfer of Process Inspecting Instructions to balancing system.
  • Preparation of balance sheets and workstation mechanics.
  • Checking and performing time studies for reducing non-value added operations for assigned area.
  • Keep balancing system and production operator instructions up to date.
  • Assisting in the preparation of rebalances and process optimization. Performing process trials on line.
  • Responsible for material facade.
  • Generate opportunities and develop proposals for improvement.
  • Analysis and optimization of production workstations.
  • Communicate with Team Leaders

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
    • Work Keys: Applied Math:  Level 4 or higher
    • Graphic Literacy:  Level 4 or higher
    • Workplace Documents: Level 3 or higher
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Three years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with continuous and process improvements in an industrial manufacturing environment (i.e. Kaizen events, and lean methodology, etc…)
  • Ability to diagnose Takt Time.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications or work instructions. Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job such as lifting and moving up to 50lbs., standing for extended periods, bending, squatting or kneeling. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Availability to work any shift (weekends, holidays and overtime).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
