release paper feed rolls, sets and monitors precision gap controls, adjusts
temperature and speed controls, and ensures uniform film coat weight across and
down web during the film roll manufacturing process. The operator shall also
perform routine inline quality checks, manage line setup and changeovers,

staged resin batches, release papers, and backing films are available at the
line before starting. Verify material lot numbers and shelf-life requirements
prior to loading. Monitor all catalyzed resin temperatures to prevent
exothermic reactions. The operator shall ensure catalyzed resin is properly
cooled in the event of manufacturing delays to prevent incidents.

through tension rolls, heating zones, and winders. Set precise doctor blade
gaps, line speeds, and zone temperatures according to recipe specifications to
ensure accurate resin film deposition.

Filming Line: Continuously observe coat weight gauges, web
tension, roll alignment, and heating zone temperatures. Make minor mechanical
adjustments to maintain film thickness within strict tolerance limits for
carbon fiber prepreg production.
·
Support
Resin Delivery: Transfer mixed resin formulations from holding
tanks to the film coater reservoir/hopper; monitor reservoir levels and resin
temperature to prevent premature cure or gelation during production runs.

uniformity; fill out quality logs and record material lot numbers. Record all
required test results and compare to standards in work instructions.
