Do you possess the equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in any of the biological or physical sciences, environmental health science, engineering, or a related field?

This position requires possession of valid registration as an Environmental Health Specialist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health. Do you possess a valid registration certificate from the State of California Department of Public Health? If yes, please be sure to include this information on the license/certificate section of your application and upload a copy of your registration certificate.

This position requires two (2) years of responsible registered environmental health administration and enforcement experience performing duties similar to an Associate Registered Environmental Health Specialist with Placer County. Do you possess this experience?

Applicants indicating “Yes” to possessing bilingual skills may be required to demonstrate their proficiency by participating in a Placer County administered Language Skills Examination as part of the selection process. Upon successful completion of a foreign language proficiency exam, an additional 5% bilingual pay will be paid to employees who use a second language on a regular basis in the normal course of business.
