This is the supplemental questionnaire for the classification of Civil Engineer - Associate. The eligible list derived from this recruitment will be used to fill vacancies for the Department of Public Works in the Tahoe area.

NOTE: We recognize the multiple program areas within the civil engineering field and that applicants will not possess experience in all program areas questioned in this exam. Applicants will be considered for assignments in program area(s) where applicants indicate experience in Part II of this supplemental questionnaire.

Do you have at least two years of responsible engineering experience?

Do you possess the equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field?

Do you possess a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in an appropriate discipline issued by the State of California?

This section of the supplemental questionnaire is the examination for this recruitment. This supplemental questionnaire will be scored based on your checked responses below. Narratives provided by applicants describing training and/or experience will not be scored but will be available to the hiring authority and may be utilized for interview and selection determination. Scores received from this section will determine applicant ranking and placement on the eligible list.
