Supplemental Questionnaire

This is the supplemental questionnaire for the classification of Building Crafts Mechanic - Supervising.  Part I will not be scored or used for determining minimum qualifications but is provided for the applicant to review prior to completing the questionnaire and may also be used when determining assignment. Part II will be scored based on your checked responses.  Narratives provided by applicants describing training and/or experience will not be scored but will be available to the hiring authority and may be utilized for interview and selection determinations.

Part I: Minimum Qualifications- Not Scored

This section will not be scored but may assist with determining how the applicant reports meeting the minimum qualifications for this position.  

Do you possess at least six years of increasingly responsible building maintenance duties, including at least two years providing technical and functional supervision over building maintenance staff? Building maintenance duties include, but are not limited to, electrical, painting, cabinet/furniture making, metal fabrication, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, environmental controls or building related maintenance and repairs.

Do you possess the equivalent of completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by course work in building trades, general construction management, project management, or supervision or a related field?

Part II: Relevant Knowledge and Experience – Scored Examination

This section of the supplemental questionnaire is the Civil Service examination for this position. This supplemental questionnaire will be scored based on your checked responses below. Narratives provided by applicants describing training and/or experience will not be scored, but will be available to the hiring authority and may be utilized for interview and selection determination. Scores received from this section will determine applicant ranking and placement on the eligible list.
