Northwest Center for Behavioral Health (NCBH) is currently accepting resumes for an Infection Control Registered Nurse III to  provide professional nursing services at our Acute Care Unit in Fort Supply, OK. The position reports to the Director of Nursing, and contributes to the leadership of a multidisciplinary treatment team practicing, assessing and improving psychiatric nursing care. This position is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and implementation of Infection Prevention and Employee Health activities throughout the organization to meet all Joint Commission standards. This position will also fulfill a staff education function, including but not limited to CPR/1st Aid Instructor and new employee training. The selected nurse on occasion may be assigned to provide staff nurse coverage as needed.

Annual Salary: $65,000 - Shift differentials when working evening, nights or weekends

Qualifications:
RN III requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and possession of a valid, permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; OR an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience; OR an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and three years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing.

We provide complete mental health and substance abuse services for the individuals of Northwest Oklahoma in our outpatient offices, residential substance abuse program and our inpatient psychiatric unit. We are currently recruiting for Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals at our Residential Substance Abuse program the Lighthouse in Woodward, OK.

Special Requirements: 

Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background.

Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary. 

Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.  Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

(if Required) Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
