The Service Oklahoma division at the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) is setting the stage for a new era of digital government.

We are a small “startup” team that is redefining the way Oklahomans engage with government services.

As a member of our first Associate Product Manager (APM) cohort, you will help us build high-impact digital products.

We are building a consistent omni-channel experience for constituents by enabling Oklahomans to select which service option is best for them—and that requires leveraging a trove of digital tools. As an APM, you will oversee the development and implementation of products that allow Oklahomans to get what they need in a faster and more convenient way.

As an APM, you will receive:
• Mentorship in the tech and product management space
• Personalized training on the fundamentals of product management
• Education in design thinking
• Experience in a wide array of government services

Job Details
• Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
• Supports the Service Oklahoma division at OMES.
• Salary up to $60,000 based on education and experience.

Responsibilities
• Drives research based on design methodology to understand the needs and pain points of Oklahomans, Service OK employees, and agency partners to identify potential opportunities for change and improvement
• Acts as the voice of the customer, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across all channels (online, in-person, phone)
• Leverages qualitative and quantitative data to help define and launch pilots to test with customers
• Contributes to product roadmap and execution plan, and partner with OMES and other partners to build and launch new products and services
• Other duties as assigned, including supporting scaling of the Service Oklahoma organization

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
• Occasional travel may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in product management, business administration, computer science, management sciences or any related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preference will be given to candidates who possess
• Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Google Analytics, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc.
