Administrative Assistant I
: $40,000 to $45,000 annually DOE

The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission serves as the sole government entity to regulate and issue real estate licenses in the State of Oklahoma. In addition to licensing real estate professionals, the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission also investigates and prosecutes consumer and licensee complaints related to licensed and unlicensed real estate activity in Oklahoma.

The Commission is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to perform administrative tasks as well as provide customer service support to applicants, licensees, Commission staff members, and the Executive Director.

Major Responsibilities: Primary duties will include reviewing, processing and providing updates regarding applications for licensure and license submission requests; responding to various questions submitted via e-mail and phone by the general public and licensees; contacting individuals and businesses via phone and e-mail to assist with license renewals and other licensure requirements; receiving, processing, and distributing agency mail; processing requests in licensing software; collaborates with other staff members to identify issues and provide timely, accurate customer service; processes various licensing related projects as assigned by Licensing Supervisor.


Competencies and Qualifications: 
The ideal candidate will have minimum qualifications including two years’ customer service experience with the general public.  Preference may be given to applicants who have held or currently hold an Oklahoma real estate license.  Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be well versed in customer service e-mail and phone etiquette. Must be willing and able to promptly interact with consumers and real estate professionals via daily phone calls and emails. Must be a highly organized, self-directed individual with the ability to respond to changing priorities, meet deadlines, work collaboratively, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
