Basic Purpose:
Positions in this job perform under the Quality Assurance Manager and are responsible for gathering, documenting, and compiling the evidence needed to establish reviewed activity is being conducted in accordance with the applicable requirements, standards, and procedures.

Typical Functions:
• Assists in documenting the agency’s quality assurance procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Coordinates and works with field staff to define quality requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assists in managing training requirements for staff.
• Conducts evaluations as assigned of operational activities within the agency as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Collects data, develops graphs and charts, and prepares reports following evaluation for Quality Assurance Manager inclusive of purpose and scope, action plans, summary of findings, and after action recommendations.
• Conducts follow-up on after action recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of sources, tools, and services used in securing and evaluating data; of cross reference filing procedures; of technical writing. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to gather and analyze complex data and security sensitive situations; to organize and present facts clearly and concisely; to establish and maintain effective working relationships; to engage in several projects simultaneously; and recommend an appropriate course of action.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional experience in a correctional or law enforcement capacity.

Special Requirements:
In order to perform necessary travel, applicants must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment and retain a valid driver’s license while assigned to this job description.
