Job Description, Essential Functions:
This position is assigned responsibilities involving the operation of communication equipment in the Department of Public Safety communication center, located in our OKC office. The incumbent is responsible for providing information and/or emergency assistance to law enforcement officials, other agencies and the general public. This includes but not limited to, taking complaints from citizens; processing calls for law enforcement officers and citizens; receiving and transmitting messages over a radio frequency.
Job Description, Marginal Functions:
Attend mandatory training, read operations manuals, complete study guides and take all written test as required for this position.
You will be required to work irregular shift schedules; which will include, fluctuating shifts between days, swings, and graveyard; working weekends and holidays; as well as possible last minute changes in your work schedule.

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of (Statutory Requirement: 47 O.S. 1998 Supp. Section 2-105.B.2.b.) “2.
