As a HR Management Specialist with OMES you will enjoy:

Job Details
• Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
• Supports divisions and all State Agency Human Resources departments.
• Salary up to $60,000 based on education and experience.

Responsibilities
• Interprets and applies rules, laws, and policies.
• Evaluates online employment application to determine appropriate action required.
• Advises employees and applicants regarding the application and hiring process.
• Prepares online recruiting announcements or reviews job announcements for content.
• Administers the state internship program.
• Trains agency human resources staff on Workday recruitment functions and business processes.
• Represents the state at job fairs, schools, colleges, and other sources for recruitment.
• Searches for qualified eligible candidates for various positions for the State of Oklahoma agencies.
• Assists with the administration of selection devices and other activities as requested.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours when attending recruiting events.
• Occasionally lift 20 lb. paper.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional HR experience in human resources management; or
• Master’s degree in human resources, public administration, sociology, psychology, or a closely related degree and one (1) year of professional HR experience in human resources management; or
• Four (4) years of technical human resources management experience and two (2) years of professional HR experience in human resources management; or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess
• Recruitment work experience.
• Experience working with an online applicant tracking system.
• Experience with Workday recruiting.
