Job Details
• Part-Time
• Support the Employees Benefits Department of Human Capital Management
• Salary is $11.00/hour

• Assists program coordinators in the development of communication and education materials to promote wellness for State of Oklahoma employees. 
• Supports Thrive initiatives through education, social media and marketing, and outreach. 
• Assists in planning and evaluating current wellbeing campaigns and programs.
• Attends trainings and workshops to enhance professional skills through Human Capital
  Management’s Learning & Development Program.  
• Networks and collaborates with other agencies and other professional organizations such as Oklahoma Public Health Association and American Heart Association. 
• Creates “lunch and learn” workshops.
• Assists in planning and coordinating health events.
• Assists in planning and managing state employee recreation leagues.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
Occasional travel may be required.

Associates degree or equivalent experience in the field of Health and Wellness or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference may be given to candidates who possess:
Experience or education in health promotion, public health, dietetics, health and exercise science, Kinesiology, sport management or recreation.
