Essential Functions:
This position is responsible for initiating contact and forming relationships with businesses and employers within the designated coverage area; connects VR and SBVI Specialists with businesses; provides training in disability awareness, ADA, reasonable accommodation and other DRS services; assess needs and recommend qualified employees, completed detailed reports as assigned; attends meetings with Workforce/DRS partners, civic organizations and other business or employer related entities; develops and coordinates DRS Business Advisor Councils including site selection, scheduling, agenda and content development; disseminates  information for job openings, internships and market data to field staff; develops and implements training and awareness events for businesses, employers, DRS partners, staff and consumers; assist BSP team in execution of annual goals. Must follow federal and state reporting procedures.

Applicant must be willing to perform all job-related travel. 
Trial period (if applicable) is required.

Level II - requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation, Orientation and Mobility, Rehabilitation Teaching, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, Special Education, Teaching, Counseling, Psychology, Community Counseling, Sociology, Social Work, a behavioral science or a closely related field plus one year of qualifying experience in an employment and training program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience in career counseling, job placement, experience in an employment and training program, habilitation or a disability related field for each year of the required education.
