Programs Field Representative, Level I, H11A
Location: VR48 – Oklahoma City
Annual Salary Range: $40,829.00 - $49,568.00
As a member of the DVR/SBVI Transition Program, this position works with both DVR and SBVI counselors and stakeholders to provide vocational and employment services from school to college or school to work for transition aged youth in Oklahoma; maintains the supply of marketing and other materials for the transition program; visits field offices, school districts, Project Search sites, and attends other local and state meetings. This position organizes regional and committee meetings; collaborates with the local and national centers to provide optimal services to DRS and clients; represents DRS on the Oklahoma Family Network, COJC, STEP summer program, STEM camps, BEST summer program and Camp WOW (when available); facilitates the revision of SWS and WAT contracts and communicates with DRS staff to update the list of contracts/schools by DRS counselors.
Must be willing to perform all job-related travel.
Preference may be given to applicants currently holding a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or the ability to sit for these credentials.
Trial period (if applicable) is required.

Level I – requirements at this level consists of a master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
