About the Position: The individual selected for this position will work in the Residency Program at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, OK, for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. The individual will perform supervisory duties of assigned administrative staff, as well as program responsibilities, coordinator, promotion, and improvements of the residency program. This position will be heavily involved in formulating agency policy, operating procedure, and budgeting, statistical analyses, grant applications, and other management functions; performance of highly technical managerial tasks for executive-level positions is expected.

Duties include but are not limited to planning, organizing, and directing the residency program; interpreting and advising agency personnel regarding rules, regulations, and laws; preparing administrative, statistical, and fiscal documents for the program; providing direct supervision to other staff; and advising on future resource requirements and budgetary needs. This position may also act as a legislative liaison, as well as other duties as assigned.

Level IV: $53,665.00
Level III: $49,309.26
Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Level IV: Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in program analysis, statistical analyses, grants and contracts, policy development or financial administration, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory or consultative capacity OR a Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of professional experience in program analysis, statistical analyses, grants and contracts, policy development or financial administration, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory or consultative capacity OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Level III: Bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience in business or public administration, including one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of technical administrative* or professional experience in business or public administration for each year of the required education. One year of technical administrative* experience may be applied for one year only of the required experience.

*Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager. NOTE: No substitution will be allowed for the required professional level experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.

NOTE:  Professional experience in the fields listed must have been primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying.  Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered qualifying.  Experience in health care industry or related work experience preferred. No substitution for the supervisory experience.

Special Requirements:
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position, and thus must maintain a valid driver license.
