Essential Functions: 
Position provides technical assistance to OSD staff/employees on matters such as salary changes, promotions, transfers, re-instatement, appointments, retirement, insurance, etc. Position coordinates/supervises recruitment/selection activities for OSD under DRS provisions. Responsible for OSD employee benefits including insurance choices; serves as insurance coordinator for State Insurance program. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Employee Self Services/Manager Self Service program.

Employee must be willing to perform all job-related travel.

Trial period is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Level II - requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree plus one year of professional experience in human resources management; or a master’s degree in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, public administration, sociology, psychology or a closely related degree; or four years of technical human resources management experience plus one year of professional experience in human resources management.

Preferred Qualifications: American Sign Language Skills
