The Administrative Office of the Courts is in the process of developing a statewide, unified, multi-jurisdictional Case Management System across the Oklahoma Judiciary. We are seeking, eager, talented, self-motivated individuals to join our MIS team to take the construction and implementation of the Oklahoma Case Management System (OUCMS) forward. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced team and join them in influencing the implementation of the statewide OUCMS application by ensuring that all requirements are met in the design, configuration, implementation, and administration of a state-of-the-art case management system. The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a self-motivated person to join the organization as a Software Test Engineer. The Software Test Engineer should possess the skills necessary to conduct manual and automated software testing on both in-house and COTS systems that support the Oklahoma judiciary.
Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, the Software Test Engineer is responsible for creating end-to-end test plans from functional and design requirements, writing and executing manual and automated test scripts on both in-house and COTS software systems, and clearly documenting defects. The Software Test Engineer will ensure new software implementations meet business requirements and are compatible with legacy systems.
The Software Test Engineer will work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure all requirements are included in test plans, to review test results, to explain issues as they arise, and to maintain the quality assurance environments. The individual must be detailed oriented, able to clearly communicate, and an analytical thinker.
Responsibilities and essential functions will include (but not be limited to) the following:
*Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements, technical specifications and/or product knowledge to ensure software applications function properly.
*Write and execute test scripts, both automated and manual.
*Record and document test results and compare to expected results.
*Document detailed steps involved in reproducing a problem.
*Maintain database of software defects.
*Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
*Operate and maintain Quality Assurance environments.
*Participate in planning meetings.
*Comply with and enforce standards of quality assurance practices.
*Work with end users and cross-functional teams to support existing court applications.
*Train peers on software and automated testing techniques.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
*Analytical and problem solving skills using a logical methodical approach.
*Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
*Experience testing in various Windows operating systems and a Microsoft SQL environment.
*Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office required.
*Experience with automated testing software preferred.
*Experience with VMWare preferred.
*Hands on experience with MS-SQL commands, stored procedures and triggers preferred.

*Computer Science, MIS, or related four-year degree. Five years professional quality assurance experience may be substituted for a degree. Java Scripting a plus.
*3+ years of relevant automated, software QA experience. Selenium experience preferred.
*Knowledge in court processes, Protractor, Postman, API Testing a plus.
