Registered Nurse Peer Assistance Program Coordinator

This is a full time position located at 2501 N. Lincoln Blvd., Ste. 217, Oklahoma City, OK.

Program Coordinator, Peer Assistance Program:
This position is assigned responsibilities under the supervision of the Executive Director, with ultimate responsibility to the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. The Program Coordinator has the responsibility for administering the Peer Assistance Program. Must possess knowledge of the disease of chemical dependency and principles of recovery as they relate to nurses. Maintains objectivity and identifies situations where objectivity is compromised. Able to handle multiple assignments with frequent interruptions and strict deadlines, organize priorities, evaluate and analyze facts and draw sound conclusions. Ability to supervise other personnel and manage a program within the agency, applying the principles and techniques of supervision and management. Possess professional communication skills, both verbal and written, self-awareness and boundary setting skills. Basic computer knowledge and experience to prepare reports and documents using Word, Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Outlook and other software applications.

Current unrestricted licensure in Oklahoma as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of three years clinical experience in mental health/substance abuse treatment. Minimum of three years supervisory/management experience. Bachelors' degree with combination of experience and certifications acceptable. Graduate degree(s) may be substituted for minimum experience requirements. Valid driver's license. Must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel.
