OK Transportation’s Engineer Intern Development Program
Civil Engineering Graduates

Our exclusive Engineering Development Program (EDP) is an entry-level rotational program that provides new engineering graduates with experiences, tools and support. By leveraging these resources, participants can meaningfully contribute as they become responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of the nearly 30,000 lane miles of roads in Oklahoma, including nearly 400 miles of historic Route 66.

Engineer Intern Requirements:

(Hiring level based on education, experience, and registration as an Engineer Intern)

• BS degree in Civil Engineering from a college or university which is recognized by the Oklahoma State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, in accordance with the standards of the Accreditation Board of Engineering Technology or a bachelor’s degree in construction management with (heavy) or civil option.
• Persons with out of state registration as an Engineer Intern must transfer their registration with the State of Oklahoma through the Oklahoma State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors no later than six months from the date of appointment.

Engineer Intern Salary Range:

(Hiring salary based on education, experience, and registration as an Engineer Intern)

• $52,000 - $59,100 annually, plus benefits package
