Introduction

OK Transportation’s Student Engineer Intern Program
University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University

Civil Engineering students are exposed to a variety of bridge and transportation related projects while obtaining valuable work experience. Students at OK Transportation’s OU and OSU design squads have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers and transportation professionals while being eligible to receive benefits of state employment including medical and dental insurance, paid time off and tuition assistance. Upon graduation, student Engineer Interns are eligible for full-time employment   in OK Transportation’s Engineer Development Program.

Engineer Intern (Student) Requirements:

• Enrolled in the Civil Engineering Undergraduate   program at the University of OK or OK State University
• Completed at least 30 credit hours towards degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hrs/wk

Engineer Intern (Student) Salary Range:

• Part Time $19.33 hourly, plus benefits package
