Professional Land Surveyor II

Job Duties: 
Perform Professional Land Surveying work, to establish and re-establish section corners and present right-of-way along and adjacent to existing and proposed highways. Directs operation of a survey crew, collecting survey data in support of projects in ODOT's Eight Year Construction Program, including topography, digital terrain model, utilities, and other features, as required.  Establishes Horizontal and Vertical Survey Control, utilizing a combination of Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment, and direct differential leveling techniques. 

Limited in-state travel required.  Work week is Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days. 

Must maintain a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of registration as a Land Surveyor with the Oklahoma State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and two years of land surveying experience subsequent to registration.
