Location: Oklahoma City, OK
The Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office is currently seeking a full-time Agent for our Civil Rights Enforcement Unit.
Responsibilities include the investigation of alleged discriminatory practices in the areas of employment, housing, and public accommodation. The successful candidate must be proficient in conducting interviews, writing reports, taking statements, conducting complex and confidential investigations, assisting in presentation of investigations, assisting in court proceedings, and testifying. A successful candidate must maintain the integrity of the Attorney General’s Office and confidentiality of information as required by the Attorney General and the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct.
Candidates must be current in certification to serve as a Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (“CLEET”) certified peace officer. Education or experience in the following is also preferred: administrative or internal investigations of alleged claims of discrimination, or general experience in the investigation of white-collar crimes. The position entails periodic travel.
All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a thorough background investigation by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office.
