OMES is seeking a full time Systems Analyst. This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City. The person filling this position shall provide functional support for the PeopleSoft modules including Grants, Projects, Contracts, Accounts Receivable and Billing (GPC/AR/BI) modules as well as integration with other PeopleSoft products such as General Ledger, Payroll, and Time & Labor. This position will also serve as implementation support for the GPC/AR/BI modules.

Position Responsibilities
• Provide functional support to the Department of Human Services for the GPC/AR/BI modules and support the integration of the modules to/from other PeopleSoft modules under the supervision of OMES Central Accounting and Reporting.  Provide support to other agencies secondary to DHS support.
• Work in tandem with the CORE Implementation Team to coordinate the entire Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Inventory, Grants/Projects/Contracts, and Asset initiatives to meet documented expectations.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of tasks necessary to meet production and project deadlines throughout the year and also ensure the Systems are functioning properly for the end users.
• Monitor and respond to assigned help desk cases.
• Assist in the testing and installation of patches, fixes, service packs or other system changes to assure no interruptions occur as a result of an update or change.
• Assist with developing and maintaining training manuals, documentation and schedules and distribute to the user groups.
• Direct development and distribution of functional process improvements, corrections and changes to provide assistance to users in system utilization and functionality.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Sciences or related field; and at least one year of experience in financial management or information technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess
• knowledge and utilization of the PeopleSoft (or other ERP system) Financial modules, SQL Tools/Developer and/or a background in Financial Management.
