OMES is seeking a full time Sr. Director of Network and Server Operations for the Information Services Division. This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City.  OMES offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependentsFor more information about the benefit allowance [click here]. The annual salary for this position is up to $135,000 based on education and experience.

The purpose of this position is to direct the network operations function of the organization.

Position Responsibilities
• Oversees all facets of network, server, and cloud operations relating to architecture, engineering, operations, and maintenance.
• Establishes overarching practices for the design, installation, configuration, and optimization of network, server, and cloud architecture.
• Performs regular analysis to evaluate overall effectiveness, and implements corrective action as needed.
• Liaisons with other functional leaders to ensure business requirements are being met.
• Creates policies for implementing and integrating network, server, and cloud technologies.
• Forecasts and completes capacity planning to avoid systems downtime and provide for stability and reliability.
• Communicates regularly with vendors, to assess changes or adaptations to infrastructure offerings.

• Occasional travel may be required.
