The Capital and Assets Management (CAM) Division of OMES is seeking several (3) full time Senior Operations Technicians. These are unclassified positions in state government, located in Oklahoma City.. OMES offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.  For more information about the benefit allowance [click here]. The annual salary for this position is up to $44,870.00 based on education and experience.

This position is responsible for supporting the Facilities Energy/Operations Manager in maintaining the department’s energy goals.

Position Responsibilities:
•Provide first response on work orders assigned to the Energy/Operations group,
•Serve as the primary point of contact with our tenants when responding to assigned work orders.
•Work with the Energy Supervisor to maintain and improve the building automation systems. 
•Monitor, test, and repair the building automation system and components to insure proper operation.
•Promote energy conservation in our facilities.  Involve all personnel in taking ownership for success of program
•Respond to work orders assigned to the Energy/Operation group
•Initiate required repairs associated with the building automation systems and HVAC systems
•Assist the Energy Supervisor in developing procedures to consistently test and maintain critical components in the building automation system(s)
•Monitor building automation repair/replacement part stock and ensure critical components are always on-hand
•Assist the Energy Supervisor with tasks requiring field assistance or system monitoring
•Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•High School Diploma, GED, or technical vocation training in applicable areas of service, and 2 years of experience in servicing HVAC mechanical systems; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference may be given to candidates:
•Who can demonstrate extensive experience in building HVAC systems.
•Basic programming logic.
