About us:
With an annual appropriated budget exceeding $300 million, the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) Finance division administers the agency’s budgeting, procurement, reimbursement and billing services for Central Administration, state-operated facilities, and other community partners.

About the Position:
This position will work under direction of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, performs facility patient accounts receivable and information systems tasks, including posting of charges, payments, and adjustments.  Maintains accounting records including ledgers, journals, registers, and individual accounts; classifies and codes revenues for entry into appropriate accounting records.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Six months of clerical, bookkeeping, technical accounting or data entry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting completion of six semester hours in accounting, bookkeeping or business-related courses at an accredited college or university for each six months of the required experience or the completion of a vocational training course in accounting for the one year of experience.
