Salary Range: $60,528 - $92,003 (commensurate with education and experience)

Job Description/Basic Purpose:
Human Resources Director

Typical Functions:
This position is the sole HR position in the agency and reports to the Executive Director. The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing leadership in all phases of human resource management while ensuring compliance with various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.

General duties include but are not limited to:
• General Human Resources, including a variety of issues such as policies and procedures, progressive discipline, grievances, terminations, leave issues, FMLA, ADA, FLSA.
• Recruitment, Hiring, Promotions and Personnel Changes – involved in all phases of the employment process
• Policies and Procedures
• Employee Payroll and Insurance Benefits
• Employee Leave
• Employee Growth and Development, Recognition and Evaluation
• Prepare and present HR information to the TRS Board of Trustees at monthly Board meetings and Board retreats

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field plus three years of professional level experience in human resources; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other qualifications and experience are listed on TRS website.
