The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking an Assistant Attorney General for our Consumer Protection Unit.

Job Summary
The Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Unit is responsible for enforcing many state and federal laws that protect consumers against deceptive, unfair and fraudulent business practice including, charitable organizations enforcement and antitrust enforcement. A successful candidate will have outstanding legal judgment and be able to effectively and professionally research, prepare, analyze and understand complex information and legal issues. A successful candidate must also maintain the integrity of the Attorney General’s Office as well as the confidentiality of information as required by the Attorney General.  Frequent in-state travel will be required.

Qualifications
Licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma, with strong writing and oral advocacy skills.  At least two years’ experience and knowledge in the area of criminal law is a must.  Experience with white collar or consumer issues is preferred.  Must be able to assume a full caseload in various stages of criminal litigation.
