OMES is seeking a full time  Information Technology Manager for the Department of Environmental Quality. Position Responsibilities
• Establish application and data integration strategy and roadmap
• Effectively align agencies on value
• Establish support organization/teams
• Define governance models
• Scale with API-led design first approach
• Enforcement of reference architecture
• Enforce application lifecycle best practices
• Construct a well-defined data model that supports sharing across lines of business
• Enforce repeatable construction and integration patterns
• Effectively utilize new and existing systems to deliver comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Define best practices for communication and evangelism

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems from an accredited college or university; a vocational or technical education course resulting in certification in computer applications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree; five years of computer applications experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
